Hello all,
I want to thank everyone first and foremost for the abundant amount of support I have received. It is incredibly encouraging to have you all supporting me and I cannot thank you enough. I have felt overwhelmed with emotions throughout this process, mostly good. Fundraising has taught a plethora of things but the most important being patience. Galatians 6:9 states, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (NIV). This verse reminds me that God is faithful and that he will provide. Fundraising can be a difficult task, especially when trying to raise over $18,000, but I know that I must stand strong and remember who is King.
Over the course of the past few months, I have done a plethora of fundraisers. This process has been very challenging but has also taught me valuable information. I continue to encourage you all to donate, support, and pray for me throughout my journey. I am extremely excited to start this adventure and cannot wait to see how God is going to radically change my life as well as those around me.
Sincerely, Claire
Love your attitude!!! I was new to the concept of fundraising when my son went on the Race almost 20 years ago. The lessons I learned during his journey has shown me how much God is in it.
It’s July 31 and you’re only $3,500 away from the goal! This experience is your very own experience of Jesus feeding the 5,000 – a story you can share with many about God’s provision even when you can see where the provision will come from!
