Hola, from Costa Rica!

As most of you know I have a huge heart for dogs. Lucky for me, the village I am staying in is filled with them. Some of the dogs have homes, while others are homeless. In the United States we have the privilege and ability to spoil our pets. We are blessed to have the means to provide for our pets. We are fortunate enough to give them great care and put them as a priority in our lives. In other countries, it is not as much of a priority because they are seen as working animals. I have noticed while abroad that I struggle finding love for people who treat animals differently than I do. It is hard to see something that I love, the dogs, not get the love and care I think that they deserve. After much thought and prayer, God has revealed to me how beautiful this picture really is. Lord knows that I am not perfect and I fail in many ways. Thankfully, my God is one that forgives and loves me unconditionally. In this I have learned to see people through God's eyes and love them because they are his people. The verse John 15:12 states, "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." We are called to love everyone no matter their flaws. This is just one of the many lessons God is teaching me. I hope this encourages you!

Let me introduce you to the crew:

This is Aslan! He is the church dog and loves to chase sheep.

This is Peanut Butter! (Aslan's BFF). He loves to bounce around and scare the cows.

This is Lady Bell! She always wants to be loved on and she loves to smile.

This is Marley Mae. She is always messing and wagging her tail.
